Journaling
During these 7 days, focus your journaling on your charisma and the associated impacts to your daily activities. Please take particular care to capture the emotions, surprises, and new insights you experience and gain.
During these 7 days you may want to focus on the following topics:
-
Think of a time that you worked with a leader who was unreasonable. Describe the leader’s character (i.e., was he/she a person of honor & integrity). What was the outcome?
-
How unreasonable are you? Do you consider yourself particularly unreasonable?
-
How unreasonable should you be to accomplish your goals & objectives?
-
Think of a situation where you were unreasonable. Did you use technical, cognitive and/or emotional intelligence?
In your journal, identify the differences between your observed unreasonableness and desired unreasonableness so that you may begin closing the gaps.
Semi-Structured Conversations
Spend time with yourself (self-reflection) and a leader you consider positively unreasonable. Prior to this conversation, observe the leader and document in your journal, unreasonableness you see in their day-to-day actions.
